Press Kit for 13 Months of Sunshine feature film
As a low level flunkie who rose to be a producer on a feature film, and an independent feature film at that, I’ve seen how things run from the bottom, and I’ve also been the guy who works until 6am the day before flying across the country to put on a screening. Mostly though, it’s involved a lot of joyous hours putting in my creativity because when you’re operating on a budget of zero, when no one else will work for free, when deadlines loom and you need to make a decision, that person is you.
Hence, you’ve maybe seen a lot of 13 Months of Sunshine related content on here. The reason it’s in my portfolio is that I’m proud of it. I’ve worked for over three years on this project, and haven’t seen a single dime from it. So yeah, this press kit is one more example of work I did on my own project. But I don’t mind. Because more than the product it represents, the press kit and all the other examples scattered on this blog represent my dedication to the job, to getting things done.
And speaking of which, I should probably update this Press Kit. After all, we just put out the DVD. Go buy it, watch it, and remember me.
